Working With Your Unconscious Mind

By Darren Miller

Researchers have said that we only use about 10% of our brains' capacities, which means that fully 90% is left dormant, untouched. Could you imagine what you might be capable of if you could access even a small part of the remaining unused part of your mind power?

What is power of mind? Scientists have known for a long time that there are some people who can access different aspects of the unconscious mind to manifest various abilities, strengths and perceptions. These abilities can often include the range of extra-sensory and psychic abilities.

However, these people aren't different or more special than you or I. Instead, we all have the ability to access our unconscious minds such that we can tap into our unique gifts and powers.

Unfortunately, what happens is that most people don't even know these abilities exist, so they remain latent. That unused 90% of your potential is there, but it's latent, dormant.

The key to unlocking your full potential lies in finding a way to free those latencies and access the power behind the unused 90% of your unconscious mind. You may find you have the ability to manifest those things you desire most in life. You could also find that powers such as telepathy, remote viewing, telekinesis, precognition, levitation and other aspects of your mind could be unleashed.

There are several ways you can accessing your unconscious mind and begin to release the latent abilities hiding inside you.

Affirmations are one great way to begin to access your unconscious mind and unlock untapped potential. Your unconscious mind is what drives your entire life, its engine, so to speak. Every choice you make in everything you do comes in some respect from your unconscious mind and from the thoughts that reside there. In some cases, those thoughts then go to your conscious mind, and you act on the information you're given.

By repeating positive phrases or messages to yourself several times a day, your unconscious mind will eventually pick up that phrase and put it to work in that section of your brain that is often locked away from your attention. That affirmative thought plus the power of your unconscious mind means that the next time you receive a conscious thought process, it will be more positive, more focused and more in tune with your desires.

So for a moment, let's take a look at what you say to yourself. Do you say, for example, 'I can't afford it,' or 'I'll always be fat,' or, 'I don't deserve to be happy'? You can take what you say to yourself and change it to something positive so that ultimately, your unconscious mind will pick up on it and begin to make it happen in a positive way.

Visualization, too, is a technique that can work to change your life by allowing you to tap into your unconscious mind. More than simple daydreaming, visualization is you taking charge of what your unconscious mind gets for its messages, as opposed to the randomness that is daydreaming, often.

So, try this: Picture yourself with your life the way you want it. You can literally change your life from the inside out, your level of happiness, abundance, positive relationships, and so on simply by visualizing yourself already having those things you want to bring to fruition. Your unconscious mind simply can't help but take up those images and bring them to conscious thought, where you'll simply see that things can open up so that you can make them happen.

Hypnosis is another way to access your unconscious mind easily. Hypnosis in fact has had very positive results for people who have wanted to lose weight, increase their self-esteem, quit smoking, attract success or wealth, or anything else that you may want.

You can do self-hypnosis as an easy way to develop your own mind powers, as you have time. Listen to recordings by trained hypnotherapists that will reinforce those affirmations you've worked to transfer to your unconscious mind. - 26706
